REMINDER...April is designated the Month of the Military Child and is a time where military bases, cities, and school districts take time to honor our youth of military families. As part of this month-long celebration, schools and local communities are invited to take part in Purple Up Day! which is being recognized in Florida on Friday, April 18, 2025. We ask that all students and staff wear purple on that day.

Congratulations to the students in participated in the Orchestra Solo and Ensemble performance this past weekend! Stone had 5 students participate! They play these solos individually, in front of a judge and receive a score for their performance.

National Library Week - April 6-12, 2025. From the American Library Association (ALA): National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in strengthening our communities and transforming lives. Encourage your student to visit the Stone library and make a date with them to visit our local library on the corner of Lipscomb and University!

Don't forget, Stone's last SKATE NIGHT of the year is TONIGHT, April 3 from 6-8pm. It is a neon glow event to say farewell to our 8th graders and hello to our 6th graders. If you wear neon, you get an extra door prize ticket. Cost is $8 and includes skate rental.
