Come out and support our Stone boys basketball team as they battle Kennedy in the 2024 playoff game. The winner of this game goes to the Championship Game on Thursday, October 17th. The game will be at 6:00pm at Kennedy Middle School.

Monday, October 14 is a Student Holiday/Teacher Workday. There is no school on Monday.

Due to the intensification of Hurricane Milton, Brevard Public Schools will be observing an early release schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/8. We will be following normal early dismissal procedures (Friday schedule). All after school activities will be canceled for Tuesday, 10/08.

The playoff game scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 has been postponed to next Tuesday, October 15. Still at 6:00, still against Kennedy at Kennedy Middle School.

Stone's fall Fun Skate Night will be Thursday, October 24th from 6-8pm. Cost is $8 per person. It includes the cost of skate rental. Join us at Galaxy Skateway. See image for more information.

October is Bullying Prevention Month! Challenge for this week: Talk to your students about bullying and cyberbullying. Ask them to tell you the definitions.

Free Before and after school academic access and tutoring begins on Monday, October 7. Morning tutoring is in the media center from 7:30-8:30am. Afternoon tutoring is in room 405 from 4:30-5:30pm.

Once again, Stone's esports Fortnite team is UNDEFEATED! As they competed against a team in North Carolina! Great job, guys!!!

The Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) store hosted using MINGA points held its 2nd day of operations. Mrs. Shaw, Mrs. Mugge, Ms. Alexander, and our new social worker, Alyssa Jiminez, have reorganized shelves, stocked prize carts, scanned and shopped with kids for our store. Here are some highlights to share with you: 9/13/24 Day 1/ Grand Opening       98 students shopped the store       140 prize purchases were made 9/27/24 Day 2 (points were increased as needed for some prize values)       116 students shopped the store       257 prize purchases were made Our next MINGA store dates will be Oct. 11th and then again October 18th

Congratulations to our boys basketball team who had an outstanding win against Johnson tonight! This was the last game of the regular season. Join us on Tuesday when they play against Kennedy in the playoffs.
